This is what it looks like outside our house--I am so grateful spring is almost here! Apparently, we recently broke a regional record for most consecutive days of snow on the ground--more than 120 days aka 4 months! I am very happy to see it melt!
I'm a fan of melting snow too. We got about 4 inches yesterday and it's mostly gone!
I still have a few drifts (from months ago) in my yard that don't get enough sun to melt, but I will tell you that I've never had this little snow remaining in March in a long, long time. Our area just hasn't seen tons of accumulating snow this year.
Enjoy your sun and melting snow. It does make a big mess, but it will dry up soon!
It's melting here too! :-) The sun is shining. Just beautiful! I think we need to go out and get some fresh air. My son's fever is gone, but he still has a bit of a cold. We won't go out for too long, but I'm so thankful to see *spring* in the air!
I am so ready for spring. We haven't had snow like that, but I am still ready. I would be a big baby if I lived where you do. I really don't like cold and snow!
Wow, 4 months! That is a long time. I think you got Germany's snow plus Iowa. We got snowed on once! That is not normal here. I am scared of what the mosquitoes will look like.
Glad you are able to start to see the sun and be outside more.
I think I picked a good year not to live in Iowa!!! I don't think I would have been able to handle it! My fingers are crossed that all the snow melts so those beautiful tulips can soon put on their yearly beauty pageant for you guys...I do miss that!

I enjoyed your wrap-up post on the healthcare!
I'm jealous!!! Sunny here, but no real thawing action yet.
Blessings,
Hooray for spring! Love, Mom
I am looking forward to spring too.
