A prayer for Nathan

"My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad; my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right." Proverbs 23:15-16
You probably wouldn't guess it seeing the smiley boy above, but Nathan's attitude lately has left much room for improvement. I've been praying specifically for God to be at work in Nathan's heart (as well as my own!), and I'm using the above proverb as one of my prayers. May it be so, Lord!

Praying for Nathan that his heart will be teachable and receptive to your instruction today! :-)

(I don't know if it's like this in your family, but it seems like the major character training lessons in our family could be categorized under the phrase..."when it rains, it pours!")

I have full confidence the Lord will guide you and Eric to shepherd his little heart in just the right way. :-) He's so blessed to have you as his mama training him in the way he should go!!

Blessings friend,
Katie

Oh roomie, I so wished we lived closer to each other so we could encourage one another more. Emails, though much appreciated, just aren't the same. I will pray for you and little Nathan today. Thinking of you and sending virtual hugs your direction!

Dearest Carrie:

I will certainly be praying for you and Eric and Nathan...that his heart will be melted and molded into submission to your authority.
Just try to remember that this is probably a phase that he is going through (like all children) and he soon will be his old sweet self again.

I love you, Grandma
