An early Christmas

Whew--I didn't mean to be away for almost two weeks, but things have been unusually busy around here!

Eric's parents and sister, along with our niece, Addison, recently visited. We sure packed a lot in during our time together! Here are some pix of the long weekend:

Because we'll be with my side of the family later this month, we celebrated Christmas early with Eric's parents. I love this picture of Natalie after she opened her favorite gift: a baby doll! (Nathan's favorites, not surprising if you know him, were all vehicle-related.) Posing with Grandma and Grandpa before church.

We had a really fun outing on Saturday because a local mini-mall gives free train rides to kids during the holiday season. I think our crew went for 3 or 4 rides!

These two are quite a pair--just 3 weeks apart. =)

Thanks so much for coming, Grandma, Grandpa, Kendra and Addison!

Well, that sounds like lots of fun! How neat that your mall gives little train rides to kids.

Cousins are the best. Well, grandparents are the best, but cousins are right behind them. Looks like you had a fun visit!

Beautiful smiles all around!! My kiddos eyes would light up at the sight of such a cute and cozy train like that ~ how neat! I especially like Nathan's charming smile in the 2nd photo...and how snuggly Natalie and her cousin are with the "footie-pajamas"...too cute!!
